Project On Cultures Excluded America
My daughter is in the 7th grade and she was given a list of cultures from which to choose a project to do. I was surprised that USA was not on the list. I asked her about that and she said that the teacher wanted to expose the students to new ideas and concepts and that we all knew the USA culture. That’s where I didn’t agree with her. America is such a melting pot that they could have gone into lots of different things.
