Knowing How to Store Your Towable Tubes

It is not uncommon to find Towable Tubes that have been used again and again for over half a decade.  But how can this be?  With kids, teens, and adults riding on a tube for so long you would expect it to perhaps last two to four years at maximum.  However, if one takes proper care of their water tubes you can hold on to that family favorite tube for as long as seven years!  The most important part in the upkeep of the longevity of a tube is STORAGE!  Many users adhere to the thought that tubes are meant to take a beating so they just throw them into a barn or shed and say, “see ya next year.”  To keep your water tubes healthy always deflate them before storing them for long periods of time (any amount of time more then 72 hours).  It takes just a few moments to deflate a tube properly; isn’t that worth the extra years of fun you will get out of it?  Many boating supplies retailers will also have items for sale such as air pumps and patching kits to extend the life of your tubes.
