When you look back on your life, you probably want to say that you saw some of the most beautiful places on the earth first hand. You certainly don’t want to miss out on Argentina in South America, where several different climates converge to allow a variety of events and experiences to travelers. Head down to the winter paradise of Bariloche Argentina where the snowfalls invite some of the best skiing anywhere. Staying at the Mount Catedral ski resort will not only provide the comfortable lodging every tourist wants, but will also give you access to great views and amazing skiing. Not to mention the city is known as Argentina’s chocolate capital and the quaint shops downtown are a great spot to stock up for your sweet tooth.
To warm up, head to the dry desert of western Argentina and visit the center of the nation’s wine industry, Mendoza Argentina . The city gets very hot in the summer months, especially January where the temperature often tops 100 degrees Fahrenheit. An intricate system of irrigation keeps the town green and visitors enjoy wine tours and tastings as a part of their vacation. Make your way to the Plaza Independencia in the heart of Mendoza. There you can start your exploration of the city with great street shows and gorgeous architecture.
If you’ve dreamed of seeing some of the world’s most stunning natural beauty, the glaciers of Los Glaciares National Park will be a treat. Make your way there via El Calafate Argentina in the south of the country and rest your eyes on the amazing ice forms. You can get to the Brazo Norte glacier by catamaran as you sail through icebergs with your knowledgeable guide. Bus tours through the city are also available and you can check out the historical district and learn about the background of this beautiful city.
