Visiting Argentina

Bariloche, Mendoza Argentina, El Calafate

When you look back on your life, you probably want to say that you saw some of the most beautiful places on the earth first hand.  You certainly don’t want to miss out on Argentina in South America, where several different climates converge to allow a variety of events and experiences to travelers.  Head down to the winter paradise of Bariloche Argentina where the snowfalls invite some of the best skiing anywhere.  Staying at the Mount Catedral ski resort will not only provide the comfortable lodging every tourist wants, but will also give you access to great views and amazing skiing.  Not to mention the city is known as Argentina’s chocolate capital and the quaint shops downtown are a great spot to stock up for your sweet tooth.

To warm up, head to the dry desert of western Argentina and visit the center of the nation’s wine industry, Mendoza Argentina .  The city gets very hot in the summer months, especially January where the temperature often tops 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  An intricate system of irrigation keeps the town green and visitors enjoy wine tours and tastings as a part of their vacation.  Make your way to the Plaza Independencia in the heart of Mendoza.  There you can start your exploration of the city with great street shows and gorgeous architecture.

If you’ve dreamed of seeing some of the world’s most stunning natural beauty, the glaciers of Los Glaciares National Park will be a treat.  Make your way there via El Calafate Argentina  in the south of the country and rest your eyes on the amazing ice forms.  You can get to the Brazo Norte glacier by catamaran as you sail through icebergs with your knowledgeable guide.   Bus tours through the city are also available and you can check out the historical district and learn about the background of this beautiful city.

The Carwin fight was rescheduled to ultimate fighting championship 108 in early 2010.

Looking for Bristol hotels for a project

Wednesday, February 29th, 2012

Me and Claire have decided that we’re going to take our research to Bristol for a few months, as it’s one of the richest areas in the country for the type of behaviour we’re analysing. We’ll stay with her sister for the second two months, but as her house is being renovated, we’re going to have to look at some Bristol hotels for us to go to between when we first arrive and when they’re ready to receive us. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Bristol, but I absolutely adore the city – it has a unique buzz unlike other cities in the UK, which I really enjoy.

Safety Issues as Part of Travel Tips

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

One of the important travel tips that one has to keep in order to build memories is to ensure that they would observe safety measures not just on the flight but before you arrive on the area whether you would travel via airplane or water.

Consider bringing sufficient clothes if you have to especially if you already know the climate of the area, which needs more protection if it does colder or varies depending on the location. Avoid bringing deadly weapons or anything that might disrupt or delay your travel because it will be inspected and checked. It’s for your safety and people who would be in the same trip.

Airline Consolidators

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

What are airline consolidators?  Well at least to me, they are companies that buy airline tickets in bulk and then resell them to travel agencies at a somewhat higher price.  You would think this is a simple process and that more companies should be doing this.  But there are some risks to doing this practice. The first risk to airline consolidators is that they can’t sell the tickets they have purchased in bulk form.  The airline consolidators can’t simply return the tickets.  So they they will either have to sell them at a loss or lose the total amount that they paid for the tickets.  So it’s sort of a risky business.  But sometimes, they can make a lot of money too if the spread that they sell them at is a lot lower than what the carriers can sell them for on a retail basis.

Gay Hawaii

Monday, February 27th, 2012

The ultimate gay Hawaii travel experience should certainly include a stop at the iconic Hula’s Bar and Let Stand.  Hula’s has been the gay Hawaii stop since the time it was located on Kuhio Avenue, but had to relocate to its current address across the Honolulu Zoo.  Plus, in its current location it is not essentially right across the street from one of the best gay beaches in Hawaii, aptly named as the Queens Surf Beach.  Plus, it’s also pretty close to another gay beach near the Diamond Head Lighthouse.  These are the places to see if you are looking for the best gay Hawaii travel experience.
