Enjoyed the Sidewalk Art Festival

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

I definitely had fun during the festival. There were some pretty awesome drawings. I did not win but I can not even be jealous of that because the winners had so much more talent than me. I do not even consider myself in the same league as them. I am glad that I pre-booked my Winter Park lodging. Even though the hotels were not completely full, I know that without the reservation I would not have had such a nice room.

Looking Forward to a Nice Vacation

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

Consider purchasing seniors travel insurance to prevent unexpected problems from ruining your dream vacation.

If you plan to travel to another country, consider purchasing travel insurance. If you should get sick or become injured while abroad, you will be expected to pay for your medical care up front, and an emergency medical evacuation could costs thousands of dollars.

Although some travel-experts claim that travel insurance isn’t worth the money, seniors should research this issue carefully for several reasons. Shopping for travel insurance can be confusing. There are many types of travel insurance plans; some cover only a particular group of losses, while others are comprehensive policies.

If you are taking a sports-related or adventure trip, look for a policy that covers sports-related injuries. Many travel insurance policies won’t pay for so called risky sports activities.

Contact your travel agent, regular insurance agent, online insurance or get a list of travel insurance agents in your area that specializes in seniors travel insurance.
